In Memoriam: Isabel Pedersen (1928-2019)

Isabel Pedersen, widow of Brunswick School’s fifth headmaster, Norman A. Pedersen, died Friday, Nov. 15, in Sarasota, Fla.

 

She was predeceased in 2015 by her husband, who served as Brunswick Headmaster from 1969 through 1987.

 

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Selina Johnson (Robert), Norman III “Pete” ’76 (Sarah), and Laura Pedersen (Tony Becket); and six grandchildren, Isabella and Robert Johnson, William, Jessica, Katherine, and Brian Pedersen.

 

A service is planned for Dec. 3 at a retirement community in Sarasota, Fla., and another in June or July at the family’s summer residence in Chautauqua, N.Y. Details will be announced as soon as they are available.
