Hockey Rolls Past Hoosac

Brunswick trimmed visiting Hoosac by a 6-1 margin on Saturday at Hartong Rink. The six goals by the Bruins matches a season high, as five different Brunswick players scored in the game.
 
Cooper Moore (11 G) netted two goals on the day, including the opening tally for Brunswick on a 6x5 power-play goal at the 12:50 mark in the period. Edward Glassmeyer notched his first goal of the season near the midpoint of the first frame, as the Bruins built a 2-0 advantage.
 
Hoosac scored the first goal of the second period on a 5x4 power play just 31 seconds into the period, before the Bruins went on a three-goal run to close out the stanza. Henry Foster (4th G) opened the run with a goal, as Moore followed with a power-play tally to give Brunswick a 4-1 lead. Ryan St. Louis capped the second-period run with his seventh goal with 5:15 left.
 
Leading 5-1 in the third period, AJ Cerbone finished the scoring for the Bruins with his first career goal.
 
Brunswick returns to action with a home game against Hill on Saturday, January 19.
