Hockey Stopped by Northwood

Brunswick lost a non-league game against Northwood on Friday in the first round of the St. Sebastian’s Holiday Tournament on Friday evening. The Bruins return to tourney action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against Rivers.
 
Trailing 1-0, Brunswick’s Ryan St. Louis (3rd goal) netted a short-handed goal to tie the contest at 10:02 of the 25-minute first half. In the final minute of the half, Northwood netted a power-play goal to take a 2-1 lead into the break.
 
Northwood made it a 3-1 contest with another power-play tally early in the second half. Midway through the frame, Aaron Aboodi scored his first goal of the season for the Bruins to slice the deficit to 3-2.
 
Late in the game, the Huskies added an empty-net insurance goal for the 4-2 final.
 
Brunswick goalie Alexander Rohlf made 27 saves.
