In the second half, Brunswick took a 36-23 lead following a full-length pass from Colin Mulshine to Tristan Joseph at 15:16, as St. Paul’s called a time-out.

Following the break, St. Paul’s went on a 14-0 run over the next four minutes of play to take its first lead of the game at 37-36. St. Paul’s lead grew to 50-41 by the 7:26 mark, before buckets by Brunswick’s Henry Caponiti and Mulshine made it a 50-45 game with 6:50 left.

The Bruins kept it a two-possession deficit until 1:02, as St. Paul’s netted a pair of free throws to build a 59-51 lead.

While a Mulshine jumper followed by a made free throw by Okpara closed the gap to 59-54 with 42 seconds left, St. Paul’s made 4/6 free throws down the stretch to hold on to win, 63-54.

After Okpara’s team-best 23, Wilson scored 12, including two three-pointers to lead the Bruins.

Against Trinity-Pawling, the Pride jumped out to an early 13-6 lead and extended it to 19-9 with 7:40 to play in the first half.
