Squash Wins Pair to Start Season

Brunswick, last year's HEAD High School Team National Champions, knocked off two other entries from last season’s top flight at nationals on Saturday at the Stephens Squash Center. The Bruins topped Deerfield (8-0) in the opener and battled past Avon Old Farms (6-1) in the night cap for a 2-0 start to the 2018-19 season.

 

Brunswick dropped only four games against Deerfield during the opening team win.

 

Prior to facing the Bruins, Avon Old Farms topped Deerfield, 4-3.

Against the Winged Beavers, Brunswick won five contests by 3-0 margins, while splitting a pair of five-game match-ups at #1 and #3.

The Bruins return to action on Sunday, December 9, hosting St. Paul's, another Justi Cup entry from 2018, at 12:30 p.m.
