Ryan Chinai’s goal 18 minutes into the game was all the scoring Brunswick needed, as the visiting Bruins topped Hotchkiss on Wednesday evening, 1-0. The shut-out victory was the sixth blanking by Brunswick (8-5-3) this season.
Chinai’s goal was set-up by Aidan Williams, as Williams cut into the Hotchkiss 18 and drew a penalty kick. Chinai confidently converted from the stripe to the bottom right corner for the 1-0 lead.
The Bruins had chances to tack on an insurance goal during the contest, as Chinai and Harry Barringer each posted quality breakaway chances, but could not convert.
Eric Meindl made four saves for Brunswick, as the keeper notched his sixth shut-out on the season. In front of Meindl, Ben Powers and Jack Withstandley continue to play solid defense, as reserve Chris Paucar also played some impactful minutes at midfield.
The Bruins wrap-up the regular season with a home game against Westminster on Saturday, November 10.
