Water Polo Wins Final Two Home Matches

Brunswick wrapped up its home slate of contests for 2018, as the Bruins topped Greenwich Aquatics 18-11 and Greenwich Aquatics (U-18) 18-13, in overtime. The Bruins, 19-2 overall, return to action on Saturday, October 27, with contests against Hopkins and Hotchkiss, as both matches will be played at Hopkins.
 
In the opener, Nico Apostolides led the scoring with six goals, as Keegan Drew followed with four markers. Kyle Yelensky added three goals, while Gavin Taylor and JP Ohl each chipped in a pair of scores. Hayden Collins made a career-high 15 saves in goal for the Bruins.
 
In the night cap against the U-18 Greenwich Aquatics squad, the game was tied at 12-12 heading into overtime. Brunswick outscored the visitors 6-1 to secure the win, 18-13. Gavin Molloy and Yelensky led the way for the Bruins with four goals apiece, while Apostolides netted three more and Danny Taylor added two goals.
