Brunswick lost a 17-14 contest to Loomis Chaffee on the road on Wednesday, snapping a 32-match winning streak in NEPSAC regular season play. The streak began following a 6-5 setback against Suffield on October 3, 2015, coincidentally at Loomis Chaffee.
Brunswick, using a shuffled line-up, was led on offense by Dillon Robinson’s five goals. Vilas Srikrishnan and Ivey Gehring each scored three goals, while Luke Apostolides netted two and Ned Camel added one goal.
The Bruins return to action in the Cardinal Cup, hosted by Greenwich H.S. The Bruins will send two teams to the 12-team, two-day event, which begins on Friday, October 12.
