Burkinshaw and Dickson Tabbed for Under-Armour All-America Game

Brunswick senior lacrosse players Patrick Burkinshaw and Xander Dickson have been named Under Armour All-Americans. The duo will join teammate Wilson Stephenson as players in the 2018 Under Armour Senior All-America Game. The 13th annual event will be played at Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood Field on June 30.

Burkinshaw, rated as the top goalie in the country for the 2018 class, signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play lacrosse at the University of Virginia next year. The Madison, Conn., resident continues to impress everyone on the field with his stellar play in the crease, as the quad-captain consistently makes impossible saves look routine for the currently 11-0 Bruins.
 
Dickson, one of the best pure attack players in the country, also signed an NLI to play lacrosse at Virginia next year. The playmaker and quad-captain from Greenwich set a career-high with seven goals in the national showdown against Hill Academy and leads the Bruins in goals (28) and assists (24) through 11 games. 
 
So far, 33 out of 44 senior players have been announced for the upcoming All-America Game, as Brunswick leads country with three selections. A final wave of 11 players will be selected in May.

The top 44 senior boys and girls selected to play in separate games are chosen by Inside Lacrosse and a selection committee made up of the nation’s most knowledgeable figures in high school lacrosse.
