After some inclement weather delayed the start of the season by a few days, Brunswick beat King at Sterling Farms GC 200-245 on Monday. With the win in five-player aggregate scoring, the Bruins (1-0) pick up their first win in 2018.
Brunswick’s Matt Camel medaled with an even-par 36, while Connor Belcastro (38) finished second. Camel notched seven pars, a birdie and a bogey. Thomas VanBelle, with an eagle on the par-five sixth hole, and Charlie Marvin carded matching scores of 40 for the Bruins.
Brunswick returns to action at Round Hill Club on Thursday, April 12, facing RCDS.
