Sailing Splits Season-Opening Races

Brunswick opened the 2018 season with a 1-1 day on the water near Indian Harbor Yacht Club on Wednesday. In the team-racing event, the Bruins topped Darien H.S. by a 2-1 margin, while falling to Fairfield Prep by a similar score.
 
Brunswick co-captains George Coyle and Will George joined fellow skipper Leyton Borcherding at the helm, as Matthew Hein, Ryan Heinzerling and Carlos Flores were crew in Wednesday’s races.
 
Brunswick (1-1) returns to racing action at Indian Harbor on April 4.
