Following a NEPSAC Class A title in squash, the seventh-straight crown for Brunswick, five members of the team were honored with All-NEPSAC honors. Senior captains Max Finkelstein and Will Holey were tabbed as first-team selections, while sophomores Nick Spizzirri, Dana Santry, and Brian Leonard earned honorable mention nods.
In the inaugural year of the all-league selections, voted on by NEPSAC coaches, Brunswick led the list with its five awardees.
Collectively, the five finished with a 51-2 mark during the Bruins’ run to the 2018 HEAD U.S. High School Team National Championship, the program’s third in four years. Brunswick finished this season with a 12-0 record. Dating back to the 2014-15 season, the team owns a 53-1 team record, including two additional national titles.
At the 2018 NEPSAC Class A Championships, Santry, Leonard, and Spizzirri won individual singles titles. Both Spizzirri and Leonard also won NEPSAC crowns last season. Holey, a 2016 New England champion, finished in third place, while Finkelstein, a two-time NEPSAC champion (2016, 2017), also finished in third.
