Christian LeSueur added another accolade to his impressive hockey resume, as the two-time Brunswick captain earned a place on the 2018 All-NEPSAC West Hockey Team. LeSueur is the fourth All-NEPSAC selection in the past three seasons for head coach Ron VanBelle.
Following a 15-12-4 regular season, LeSueur and the Bruins qualified for the post-season as the #5 seed in the NEPSIHA Martin/Earl (Large School) Tournament. The quarterfinals have the Bruins traveling to #4 Williston Northampton on Wednesday, February 28.
Currently, LeSueur leads the Bruins in goals (16) and is tied for the team lead in assists with 21 (1.19 points/game).
The Greenwich native has been a vital cog in Brunswick’s impressive four-year run of post-season appearances, including the current 2017-18 season. During the four-season span, as Brunswick went 78-37-4, LeSueur netted 63 goals and added 76 helpers (1.09 points/game).
