Hockey Secures Post-Season Bid in Large School Tourney

Brunswick locked up its fourth-straight trip to the post season, garnering the fifth seed in the NEPSIHA Martin/Earl (Large School) Tournament. The Bruins (15-12-4, 14-10-4) will travel to #4 Williston Northampton (14-10-2) in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday, February 28.
 
With the face-off scheduled for 3:45 p.m., Brunswick plans on webcasting the game on its webcasting channel: https://locallive.tv/brunswick.
 
The eight teams will play quarterfinal games and semifinal games at the higher seed, unless the travel distance is greater than two hour and 45 minutes. The winners of the 1-8 and 4-5 games will face-off in one semifinal, while the winners of the 2-7 and 3-6 games will play in the other semifinal. Following those semifinals on Saturday, March 3, the championship round will be played at St. Anselm’s College (N.H.), on Sunday, March 4.
 
Brunswick faced Williston Northampton during the regular season, besting the Wildcats in Hartong Rink back on January 27, 4-3.
