Eight Pins Carry Bruins to “Town Crown” Victory

Brunswick strung together eight pins against town rival Greenwich H.S. en route to a commanding 62-9 win on Thursday inside Burke Field House. The win caps the home contests for the 14-0 Bruins, as Brunswick wraps-up the regular season at Chase Collegiate on Saturday, February 3.

 

After the Cardinals won the first match of the night, Brunswick reeled off four straight pin-wins to take a 24-3 lead.

 

Greenwich halted the Brunswick run with a pin victory, but the Bruins closed out the contest with eight consecutive wins, including four by pinfall.
