Salisbury jumped out to an early lead over Brunswick, as the Crimson Knights pulled away from the Bruins for a 70-33 non-league win at Dann Gym on Saturday. The Bruins (2-9) return to FAA action facing Rye CDS on the road on January 22.
Trailing 41-15 at intermission, Salisbury (3-7) extended its lead in the second half for the double-digit win. The Crimson Knights held a decisive shooting advantage over the Bruins, as the visitors shot 27-49 from the field (.551), while the Bruins connected on 12-50 shots (.240).
Jack Molloy led the Bruins with 13 points, as Harrison Caponiti grabbed a team-best six rebounds. Khari Wilson chipped in six points and four boards, while Muna Nwana added five pints with four caroms for the Bruins.
