Squash Tops Haverford in Opener

Brunswick bested rival Haverford by an 8-1 margin on Saturday inside the Stephen Squash Center. While the contest was the 2017-18 season-opener for each team, the two schools last met in the 2017 national championship, where the Fords topped the Bruins by a 5-2 score.

 

In addition to the 2017 national title match, Brunswick and Haverford met in the national championship in 2016. The Bruins won that contest, 4-3.

 

Brunswick won every match from #1 to #8, as Haverford took the #9 match. The Bruins won matches at #2, #4, #5, #6, and #8 in straight sets, while earning wins at #1, #3, and #7 in four sets.
