Two Soccer Players Named to WNEPSSA All-Star Game

Nick Boardman and Harry Barringer earned all-star roster spots for the 28^th Annual WNEPSSA soccer game, hosted by Loomis Chaffee on Sunday, November 12. The Brunswick tandem will play on a combined roster of Class A and Class B players from prep schools from around the region.

 

Boardman, a senior heading into his final Brunswick soccer game on Saturday, is the Bruins’ leading scorer. The superb striker leads the team with 13 goals, while setting up a number of other scores for the Bruins. Recently, Boardman set a career-high with four goals in a 4-2 win against Millbrook.

 

Barringer was a vital backstop for the Bruins this season. So far, the junior posted four shut-out victories, while making at least eight saves seven times, including a season-best 11 stops against Worcester Academy for first-year coach Danny Simpson.
