Brunswick finished with a five-score aggregate total of 192, defeating host Loomis Chaffee (204) and Deerfield (211) at the par-36 Rolling Meadows CC in Ellington, Conn., on Wednesday. The pair of victories gives the Bruins a 2-0 lead to start the season.
Lance Johnson medaled with a 36, finishing with an impressive nine consecutive pars, followed by Matty Dzialga (38), Matt Camel (39), Ben Carpenter, who shot 39 in his varsity debut, Thomas VanBelle (40), and Reid Robbins (41).
The Bruins get back on the fairways on Thursday, April 6, as they travel to the New Canaan CC to face St. Luke’s.
