Brunswick dropped its final FAA game on the 2016-17 season, losing to Greens Farms by a 61-44 margin on Thursday. The game capped the 14-game FAA regular season slate for the Bruins, as Brunswick finished in fifth-place with a 6-8 conference record.
Following a non-league home game with Trinity-Pawling on Saturday, the Bruins will begin the FAA post-season, traveling to Masters, the fourth-ranked team in the league, for a quarterfinal contest on Tuesday, February 21.
Against Greens Farms, the Bruins held a slim 23-21 lead at the break. In the second half, Brunswick was outscored by the Dragons, 40-21, as Greens Farms pulled away for the 61-44 victory.
Muna Nwana finished with a team-high 17 points on 7-15 shooting from the field, while adding five rebounds. Cam Kelly, Graham Pierce, and Charlie Sealy added seven points apiece.
