Hockey Falls to Unbeaten Delbarton

Brunswick dropped a 3-1 decision to Delbarton (16–0–2) in a non-conference game in New Jersey on Saturday. The Bruins hold a 12-7-3 overall record and are 11-6-2 in NEPSIHA play.
 
Brunswick’s Jack Forrest netted the first goal of the game just 76 seconds after the opening face-off.  
 
Delbarton netted the equalizer at 5:45 of the second period, as the teams skated into the third period tied at 1-1.
 
The Green Wave took a 2-1 lead on a goal at 5:23, while adding an empty-net tally with five seconds left in the game to hold on for a 3-1 win over the Bruins.
 
Goalie Dan Dachille made 22 saves for the Bruins. 
 
Brunswick returns to action on Wednesday, February 8, hosting Lawrenceville at Hartong Rink for a 4:30 contest.
