Swimmers Top Loomis at Mehra Natatorium

Brunswick’s swim team took a notable step forward, topping longtime swimming powerhouse Loomis Chaffee, 101-84, on Wednesday at Mehra Natatorium. The Bruins (5-0) set a trio of pool records on the day and won 10 of 11 events.

While the Bruins work toward improving on their impressive seventh-place finish at the New England Championships in 2016, this win avenges a setback to the Pelicans last year. Additionally, Loomis finished one place (and eight points) above the Bruins at the New England Championships a year ago.
