Brunswick lost to FAA rival Masters on the road Tuesday, 62-43. The setback evens the Bruins’ record at 2-2 overall and 1-1 in FAA action.
In an evenly played first half, the Panthers closed out the opening stanza with a short scoring run to take a 27-22 lead into the break.
Masters extended its lead to double figures in the second half and never looked back, winning 62-43.
The Panthers held the Bruins to 16-57 (.280) shooting from the field, while connecting on 20-49 (.408) shots on their home floor.
Will Marvin paced the Bruins with 14 points, including four three-pointers. Angus Binnie added seven points along with a team-best eight rebounds. Cedric Lafleur and Jack Malloy also netted seven points for Brunswick.
The Bruins return to action on Wednesday, December 14, hosting FAA rival King at Dann Gym at 5:00 p.m.
