The Bruins took a 1-0 lead in the first period at the 6:25 mark, as Wilson Stephenson stationed himself in front of the net and potted a cross-crease pass from Ed Glassmeyer. Cooper Moore also picked up an assist on the goal.
Westminster (1-1-1) tied the game four minutes later and made it a 2-1 lead with another goal in the opening minutes of the second period.
At 13:48 of the second period, Brunswick’s Nick VanBelle netted the 2-2 equalizer on a power-play.
In the third period of the 2-2 game, as the clock drew closer to all zeros, Henry Hill’s game-winner and first career goal at Brunswick sent the home crowd into a frenzy.
On the play, Hill skated in from the blue line, accepted a pass from Jack Forrest, and snapped a shot under the glove of the Martlet goaltender.
Goalie Strauss Mann (2-0) earned the win for Brunswick, stopping 30 of 32 shots.
