The Bruins tallied 13 hits on their way to a 9-2 win against Rye Country Day School on Tuesday.
Boston Flannery, Reed Hyde, Connor Jones, Riley Redahan, and Alex Giannuzzi all had two hits for the Bruins. Eight Bruins recorded a hit in the win. Player Crosby, Michael Yeager, and Jackson Shepelsky were the other three who were in the hit column.
Crosby and Flannery combined for a complete game one-hitter. The senior duo recorded 12 strikeouts, controlled the strike zone, and dominated the opposition.
Brunswick has secured a home game for the first round of the playoffs and awaits the result of the Hamden Hall-Hopkins game. With a Hamden Hall loss, the Bruins would receive a share of the regular season title and the #1 overall seed for the FAA playoffs.
