'Wick Track Wins FAA Championships

The track team had an excellent day at the FAA Championships at Hopkins on Saturday, scoring a total of 177 points, while the second and third place teams, Rye Country Day and Masters, scored 88 and 82, respectively.  
 
Many athletes performed well. Co-captain Mac Brooks won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, breaking his own school records in both. Nick Tchkotoua came in second in the 400-meter race. London Ulysse won the High Jump, came in second in the Triple Jump, and third in the Long Jump. Will Janis won the Shot Put and came in second in the Discus.  Nathan Lee won the 3000-meter and came in third in the 1500-meter races. Riley Gilsenan won the Discus, while Luke Brooks took first place in the Javelin.  
 
Both relay teams also took first place. The 4x100 team consisted of co-captain Niki Sulkowski, Jacob Pelham, Luke James, and Malik Samms, while the 4x400 team was made up of Sulkowski, Brooks, and co-captains Ryan Kulsakdinun and Tchkotoua. Brunswick also got significant points from Charlie Stemerman (second in the 110 and third in the 300 hurdles), Tyler Lloyd (second in the long jump and third in the high jump), and James (third in the 400).
