Bruins Keep FAA Playoff Hopes Alive, Defeat King

Brunswick defeated King by a score of 11-4 on the baseball diamond at Edwards Campus on Tuesday afternoon. 

Player Crosby took to the mound and shut down a solid offense, allowing only two runs over 4 & 1/3 innings and striking out seven. Sam Sealy and Liam Butler combined for six strikeouts over 2 & 2/3 innings.

The Bruins were led offensively by Crosby, Sealy, and Connor Jones, who each had a pair of hits and two RBIs.  Boston Flannery and Jackson Shepelsky were responsible for the remaining two Bruins hits.

In a must-win game, the Bruins did what they had to do to keep their FAA playoff hopes alive. 'Wick will travel to Long Island to take on the Stony Brook School on Saturday before a big league contest with Hamden Hall next Tuesday.
