Brunswick opened its track and field season with outstanding results. On a humid day, Brunswick defeated eight other FAA teams, scoring a total of 177 points. The next highest score was 67. In doing so, four school records were broken, and many athletes achieved personal bests. The new school records are: 10.64 seconds in the 100 meter dash by sophomore Jalen Noisette (the fastest time in Connecticut so far); 16.68 in the 110 meter hurdles and 42.71 in the 300 meter hurdles, both by senior Mac Brooks, and 9:09.59 in the 3000 meter run by freshman Nathan Lee. In addition, junior Tyler Lloyd won both the long jump and triple jumps, senior Nick Tchkotoua won the 400 meter dash; senior Riley Gilsenan won the discus, and junior Luke Brooks won the Javelin.
