Brunswick beat Hopkins, 58-40, on Wednesday afternoon in Dann Gym.
A sluggish start by the Bruins led to an unexpected halftime result, as the Hilltoppers took a two-point lead into the break.
As they have done too often of late, Brunswick waited until the second half to turn up the execution and intensity, quickly seizing control of the game. Pressure on the defensive end to the floor consistently led to easy baskets in transition for the Bruins, who were led by Wyatt Triestman’s game-high 20 points.
Brunswick, winners of nine of their last 10 games, will look to continue its momentum Friday night at Hamden Hall.
