Brunswick finished the regular season with a win against Division I rival Hopkins this afternoon. The Bruins won nine of the twelve events, and the final score was 98 to 73. The team's energy was high, and a visit from program alums Alex Hazlett '22 and Aidan Marks '22 added a boost throughout the meet.
The boys started the meet placing second and third in the 200 medley relay, putting them down two points after one event. It woke up the team and would be the last time we trailed Hopkins. Three events later, the boys were up 18 points and didn't look back on route to a 25-point win. The boys swept the 200FR and 500FR, which highlights significant progress being made in middle distance and distance events this season.
This meet was a great warmup for FAA Championships next weekend, when the boys will be returning to Hopkins to see if they can win their fourth consecutive FAA title.
