Bruins Earn Road Win at Hopkins

In its first contest of the new year, Brunswick earned a 76-42 victory at Hopkins on Saturday to move to 3-0 in the FAA and 5-4 overall.

The Bruins jumped all over the Hilltoppers from the opening tip, building a 10-0 with suffocating defense and transition offense. It was all Brunswick the rest of the half, led by Wyatt Triestman who scored a game high 19 points, and the Bruins took a 37-21 lead into the break.

The second half opened with back-to-back three pointers by Jack Stevens, two of his five makes from downtown on the afternoon, to blow the game open for Brunswick. The Bruins bench did a great job closing things out down the stretch and everyone on the roster made it into the scorer's column.

Brunswick travels to St. Luke’s on Wednesday.
