Wrestling Beats Salisbury and T-P

Brunswick (6-2) earned two league wins on the road in a tri-meet at Salisbury on Saturday.

 

In the first dual meet, which matched Brunswick against the hosts, the Bruins won 66-18 over the Knights. In the second dual meet, Brunswick earned a 72-9 win over Trinity-Pawling.

 

Several Bruin wrestlers went 2-0 on the day including Quinn McGraw '26 (8-3), Patrick O'Donahue '25 (7-3), Michael Accetta '24 (12-2), Enzo Vera '23 (12-3), Alec Harned '26 (6-2), Jack Degl '25 (14-2), Carlo Tucci '26 (8-2), Tomas Delgado '23 (7-3), and Reed Eddy '25 (6-0).

 

At 106 lb., Christian Yanoti '25 (6-5) took one forfeit, while Silas Corveddu '27, who also took one forfeit, saw his first action of the year in an exhibition match win. At 175 lb., Emil Sogaard-Srikrishnan '25 (8-3) also went 1-0 plus an exhibition match win.

 

The Bruins have four more dual meets next week before hosting the Brunswick Invitational Tournament (B.I.T.) on Saturday, January 21.
