Brunswick scored two touchdowns in each half on its way to a 28-0 blanking of Wyoming Seminary (Kingston, Pa.) in a Northeast Prep Division game at Cosby Field on Saturday.
The Bruins’ defense and special-teams unit were outstanding all afternoon — as forced fumbles and recoveries, along with a blocked punt, led to ’Wick scores throughout the contest.
Senior defensive lineman Jurgis Schmedlen had three sacks, one blocked punt, and one fumble recovery to lead the charge for the home team. Seniors Luke Michalik and Wylie Ocken also got in on the act to help set up the offense and put the Bruins in prime field position.
Junior RB Bryce Davis had three TDs — two on the ground and one in the air on a 17-yard screen pass from junior QB Elijah Cromartie.
Sophomore Jaylen Noisette rounded out the scoring with 1:31 to go in the fourth quarter on a 10-yard scamper to the endzone.
The Bruins — now winners of four straight games — will host Andover on Saturday at 6 p.m.
