Gunningham and Sieg Capture FAA Doubles title

Santos Gunningham and Jack Sieg captured the FAA Doubles tournament title on Monday afternoon defeating the #1 seeded pair from GFA.

Tournament play began on Saturday and the Bruins pair had a tough first match against the second doubles pairing from GFA. After winning a tight battle, they found their rhythm in the quarter finals where they seemed too strong for the RCDS doubles team.
On Monday afternoon, they faced the #2 seed in the tournament from Hopkins and this was a closer battle. But the Bruins pair continued to persevere through tough points and would eventually earn a berth in the Final against the #1 seed from GFA.
The Semi Final seemed to be the ideal warm-up for this match, because both Gunningham and Sieg were on fire, serving well, volleying accurately, and just not making many unforced errors.

They would eventually close out the match in straight sets to become the FAA doubles tournament champions!
