Brunswick defeated Harvey, 8-1, after getting off to a strong start on the diamond on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bruins opened the scoring on a error, a double by Josh Feldman, and a sacrifice fly by Sam Sealy in the first inning to go up 3-1.
In the second inning, Adonys Guzman smacked a two-run home run over the fence in left center.
Michael Yeager started on the mound for Brunswick and went five innings, allowing one run on one hit, striking out 10, and walking one. Sealy came in to relieve Yeager and went two innings, allowing no runs on one hit and striking out one.
A. Guzman led the Bruins with two hits in three at bats. Riley Redahan, Feldman, Nick Bianco, and Yeager all added a hit. Player Crosby was great on the bases with four steals and two runs scored.
