The varsity tennis team traveled to Sterling Farms club on Monday afternoon and earned a 7-0 victory against King.
This was the second FAA league match of the season and the team did a great job to win another one to remain tied at the top of the standings.
The player of the day was definitely Will Monahan, whose match was the last one to finish. He had the toughest contest of the evening playing against Hugh Hentschel at the #1 spot and pulled off a great upset after losing the first set in a tiebreak. Monahan kept his composure and just kept grinding and stuck to a disciplined game-plan. In the end, it came down to a third set super-tiebreaker and he pulled it off in a very tight battle.
