Brunswick came out firing in the first half against the hosts from Lawrenceville, jumping out to a big lead at halftime and ultimately defeating the Big Red by a score of 15-11 on Wednesday in New Jersey.
Lawrenceville exploded in the third quarter, scoring seven goals and closing the Bruins’ lead to 13-10. But the ’Wick defense settled back in during the fourth quarter and allowed only one goal.
Tomas Delgado put the nail in the coffin late in the fourth by scoring an open-net goal, his team-high fifth of the game.
The Bruins (5-0) travel to Seton Hall Prep on Saturday for a 1 p.m. face-off.
