Bruins Sweep Double Header

In game two, the Bruins defeated Fieldston 7-2 to sweep the series on Saturday. 

In the first inning, the Bruins got their offense started by Riley Redahan doubling to left to start the game. The next batter, James Moore, had a sacrifice fly to move Redahan over to third. Then Adonys Guzman also had a sacrifice fly to score Redahan.   

‘Wick pulled away for good in the fourth inning. Nicholas Bianco singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

The Bruins notched three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught was led by Guzman and Boston Flannery, both driving in runs in the frame.
Jackson Shepelsky toed the rubber for Brunswick. The pitcher allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out one and walking zero. Sam Sealy came in to pitch the last two innings. Sealy allowed one run on one hit throughout those two inning. 

‘Wick racked up nine hits throughout game two. Redahan, Flannery, A. Guzman, and Jerry Guzman all managed multiple hits for the Bruins. 

The Bruins will have Sunday off and jump back into league play Monday afternoon against Greenwich Country Day. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
