Brunswick opened its cup racing season on calm waters at Mercer Lake with a sweep of Lawrenceville.
The Bruins 1st Varsity Eight (coxswain Max Konzerowsky, stroke Peter Kapp, Henry Andren, Jimmy Cabot, Ruffin Bryant, Campbell Officer, John Dunn, Ben Packer, and bow Sam Subramaniam) were able to stride out to an "open water" victory over the home team. Brunswick will bring home The Service Cup in its inaugural year.
Brunswick's 2nd Varsity Eight (coxswain Teddy Elmlinger, stroke Jamie Gibbons, Robert Jacobson, Scott Raissis, Will Baxter, Kiran Marsh, Theo Evans, Colin Devine, and bow Tomas Jasson) led wire to wire in also earning an open water win.
Similarly, the Brunswick 3rd Varsity Eight (coxswain Lucas Tan, stroke David Chavarria, Jake Murphy, Henry Putnam, Reed Eddy, Jack Karst, Nick Citarella, Eric Lorenz, and bow Magnus O'Reilly) cruised to victory, while the 4th Eight had to hold off their Big Red opponents right to the finish line.
