Brunswick had one of the best performances in the program’s young history at the New England Championship this past weekend, earning a second-place finish.
The boys were spirited, energetic, and competitive and came close to unseating Andover, who won their 6th consecutive championship. A 3.5-point difference separated Andover (433pts) and Brunswick (429.5pts).
Brunswick boys won eight of the 12 events at NESCACs, broke, six New England records this season, set three Division 1 Championship Meet records, and six boys produced seven Automatic All-American swims. Lastly, Alexander Hazlett was voted the male swimmer of the meet by the Division 1 coaches. This team has solidified its place in Brunswick history as one of the best.
