The Bruins’ number-one star would have to be junior goaltender Will Baker, who bailed out his teammates on a number of occasions during the contest (especially in the later stages, when the feet may have been taken off the gas) and wound up with 27 saves in all.
Junior co-captain James Shannon had a pair of goals, as did sophomore Sean Gibbons, and senior d-man John Burdett rounded out today’s trio of lamp-lighters.

A rematch with Frederick Gunn in Washington, Conn., is next on Friday night at 6 p.m.
