Brunswick earned back-to-back wins against Lawrenceville and Williston Northampton on Wednesday and Thursday to move to 13-5-1 (12-4 in NEPSIHA) as the home stretch of the season now begins.
The Bruins scored two goals in the second and three in the third — and junior goaltender Brendan Holahan kept a zero on the board — to shutout the Big Red, 5-0, on Wednesday at Hartong Rink.
The line of juniors Hank Cleaves and Eli Friedman and sophomore Drew DellaSalla was responsible for three ’Wick tallies.
The team returned to the ice less than 24 hours later to defeat Williston by a final of 6-2. Cleaves had a pair of goals, while juniors James Shannon and Daniel Hu and sophomores DellaSalla and Sean Gibbons rounded out the scoring.
As Friday’s game against Albany has been canceled, Brunswick will next face off on Tuesday versus Elite Hockey Academy. Puck drop is at 5 p.m. at Hartong.
