Alpine Team Finishes Second to Weston HS

Brunswick landed another second-place finish with a score of 12-1, just hundredths of a second behind new rival Weston, at Thursday’s race at Mount Southington. 

The top-six Bruins finished with an overall time of 278.26, a hair’s breadth of .05 seconds behind first-place Weston — but 8.61 seconds ahead of third-place Hand and 12.28 seconds ahead of fourth-place Wilton.  

Brunswick’s Will Kallman achieved a hat trick, finishing first place again at CISL’s third competition. Kallman led the field by 1.04 seconds with two first-place runs. Once again, teammates Patch Leonard (8th), Cameron Shipman (9th), and Ollie Leonard (10th) all posted top-ten results. Evan Daigle (22nd) and Ryan Warner (26th) both had their best finishes of the season and rounded out the top six for the team competition.
