A spirited effort by the varsity soccer team fell short against New England powerhouse South Kent on Friday, as the Cardinals scored three goals in each half and cruised to a 6-0 win at their home field.
The Bruins created several scoring chances and played competitively, but could not stop the offensive onslaught of South Kent. GK James Walker stopped numerous scoring chances by the opposition. John Dunn and Omeed Pooya played well on defense.
The team looks forward to its next game on Wednesday at Carroll Field against King.
