LAX Ends Season with Two-Game Sweep

Brunswick swept a home-and-home, two-game series with Avon Old Farms this weekend, defeating the Winged Beavers 12-9 and 16-8 to conclude the spring season on the lacrosse field. 

Game two — the last on Cosby Field for the team’s seniors — was decided by a decisive 8-1 second-quarter run, with seniors Coulter Mackesy, Tommy Quinson, Lucas Delgado, and Blake Borges all picking up points during the scoring spree. 

With the wins, the nationally ranked Bruins finish the year with a record of 14-3.
