Bruins Top Ridgefield, Deerfield Visits on Wednesday
Brunswick took a commanding six-goal lead after the first quarter and went on to defeat Ridgefield High School by a score of 18-10 on Tuesday night on Cosby Field.
The Bruins, now 9-1 on the season, led 12-4 at the half and 17-7 after three quarters.
Highlights included a four-goal performance from Tommy Quinson, a four-point night for Patrick Mullen (including his first varsity goal), three goals from Myles Spiess, and Payton Anderson’s first career varsity goal.
Blake Burchill and Andrew Greenspan combined to go 21/27 at the face-off X — with Tucker Williams seeing some time in the crease and making six saves.
Next up for ’Wick is a Wednesday evening showdown with Deerfield Academy. Game time is 5:15 p.m. on Cosby Field.
