Brunswick defeated King in the first of two games on Saturday afternoon on the diamond, besting the Vikings by a score of 19-4.
Nick Bianco started on the hill and lasted three innings while giving up four runs on eight hits, walking three, and striking out three. Player Crosby came on in relief and pitched the remaining four innings, surrendering three hits and three walks, while fanning five Viking hitters.
King led the game for most of the way, taking a 4-1 lead into the fifth inning, when Brunswick would tie it up. The Bruins scored twice in the sixth and a put up thirteen runs in the top of the last frame.
Adonys Guzman hit a grand slam and a solo shot in the same inning, while Miles Walker and Cole Mascolo each added a dinger as well. Michael Yeager added an RBI double, while Zach Boehly, Sam Sealy, and Riley Redahan each added a hit, while Josh Feldman and Bianco slugged a pair of hits.
