Bruin LAXmen Hold Off Lawrenceville

Brunswick raced out to a 5-0 in the first quarter and held off a late Lawrenceville surge to defeat the Big Red, 11-8, in a Wednesday matinee in New Jersey. 

With the victory, the Bruins pushed their undefeated record to 5-0. 

Senior co-captain Coulter Mackesy led the offense with a six-point afternoon (5G, 1A) with sophomore Tomas Delgado also having a big day on the field with five points (2G, 3A) of his own. Chris Gaine, Luke Waters, and Lucas Delgado also found the back of the net for the visitors.

Owen Guest, Will Donovan, and Colin Mulshine stood out on the defensive end of the turf, while Luke Schlank made some key one-on-one saves to preserve the “W.”

The Bruins host Wilton High School on Thursday at 4 p.m.
