Varsity baseball traveled to Belmont Hill on Saturday for a double header, splitting the series with a 13-5 win and a 4-1 loss.
Josh Feldman started the first game for the Bruins. He went two innings, giving up five runs (two earned) and four hits while notching two strikeouts. Nick Bianco came in on relief and threw three innings, surrendering one hit and a pair of walks while striking out a batter. Sam Sealy closed out the game, hurling two innings, allowing two hits and striking out three.
Offensively, Aidan Redahan led the Bruins with three hits, including a double and a triple. Adonis Guzman added a pair of hits, including a double. Michael Yeager, Player Crosby, and Sealy all added to the hit parade with their first Brunswick varsity hits.
In Game 2, Yeager made his first varsity start on the mound. He lasted three innings, walking two and striking out three. Miles Walker came on in relief, pitching 0.2 innings, giving up four hits, three runs, and a pair of walks. Riley Redahan closed out the game throwing 2.1 innings, surrendering two hits, one run, and striking out three.
Guzman led the way with a pair of hits, while Aidan Redahan and Cole Mascolo added a hit of their own.
The Bruins will be in action Monday on the King Street campus, where they will square off against the St. Thomas More Chancellors. First pitch will be at 3:30.
