Brunswick dropped an 87-52 decision to top-seeded St. Luke’s in an FAA semifinal contest on Tuesday in New Canaan. The loss caps the season for the fourth-seeded Bruins (8-15), while The Storm (20-4) advance to the FAA Championship on Thursday.
In the first half, St. Luke’s slowly built a double-digit lead, eventually taking a 45-28 lead at the half. The hosts kept up the offensive output in the second stanza for the 87-52 victory.
It is the third-straight season the Bruins reached the FAA semifinals.
Tristan Joseph led the Bruins with 17 points, as Logan Galletta added nine points. Kevonne Wilder and Sam Mazzullo chipped in five points, as Colin Mulshine, James Sealy and Jack Michalik added four points and Jon Sigurdsson scored one point.
